MISSION AND VISION OF PGI YOUTH MINISTRY
To bring youth to Christ, establish their faith, and equip them to serve and lead in the church and the world as bold disciples of Jesus.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Youth Ministry exists to nurture the spiritual growth of young people, foster their gifts and talents, and prepare them to be active, faithful members of the church today and leaders of the church tomorrow.
Scripture instructs us. In 1 Timothy 4:12, we are reminded, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” This ministry ensures that young people are guided to live as examples of faith and love in their communities.
Focus of the Pastoral Ministry
Building Strong Disciples
Provide young people with a solid foundation in biblical truth, fostering their personal relationship with Christ, and equipping them to confidently live out and share their faith in all areas of life.
Fostering Service
Encourage youth to discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents, empowering them to take on leadership roles in the church and engage in meaningful service that impacts their communities.
Christ-Centered Community
Establish an environment where young people feel valued, supported, and connected through fellowship, worship, and mentorship, strengthening their identity in Christ and their sense of belonging in His church.
