We believe that the Bible is God’s true and powerful word which contains all that we need to know for life and for salvation, and which ought to determine all we do and think as a church.
First, be a faithful servant of God
Because this is God’s work, we are committed to doing His work His way, which means being dependent on His word, the Bible. To this end our priorities as a community of Christian people are:
- To be taught and built up through careful Bible teaching.
- To see Christians loving and serving each other and being trained and equipped for a life time of service.
- To share the good news of Jesus by showing His love through words and actions and inviting others to know Him.

It can be daunting walking into church for the first time, whether you are used to church or new to the whole experience. At PGI we want to do our best to make it as easy as possible to settle in, to get to know people, and to get involved.
Where do you meet?
What time does it start
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code other than… please wear something!
Wear what you feel comfortable in.
What will happen when I arrive?
One of our welcome team will greet and guide you to a suitable seat, and introduce you to some people in the church. They will be happy to answer any questions and point out the locations of the toilets and children’s workers, if that is required.
Where should I sit?
Are there any Bibles available?
What type of songs do you sing?
Do you have communion?
Is there an offering/collection?
Are there baby changing facilities?
Are there facilities for the disabled?
