Uplifting women to lead, serve, and share Christ globally.
Women's Ministry Manual
“In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.”
1 Timothy 3:11
MISSION AND VISION OF PGI WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The mission of this ministry is to uplift Christ in the church and in the world. It seeks to enable women to deepen their faith, experience spiritual growth and renewal, and mentor young PGI women by encouraging their involvement and creating pathways for them to reach their potential in Christ.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of Women’s Ministries is to nurture, facilitate, and support women in their Christian lives as disciples of Jesus Christ and members of His World Church. In consultation with the administration and other church departments, the ministry shares the responsibility for developing a global evangelistic strategy and provides training to equip the women of the church to uplift Christ both within the church and in the wider world.
Scripture commands it. In his letter to Titus, the apostle Paul includes instructions on proper church conduct. After describing the qualifications for elders, Paul instructs Titus on what to teach older men, and likewise to teach older women, so that older women can teach younger women. ~ Titus 2:1-5
Focus of the Women's Ministry

Mentoring

Spiritual Qualities
Cultivating a Christ-centered life through these spiritual qualities:
• An intimate relationship with God
• Serves God, not self
• Devoted to prayer
• Committed to God and His Word
• Models’ servant leadership style

Evangelism
Women should be encouraged to get involved in evangelism. There may be women in your church who are gifted with the ability to speak in public, give Bible studies or lead small prayer or study groups. Women ministries leaders should provide opportunities for these types of activities, being sure that women in the community are invited to each event.
