Community Projects
Serving as God's hands to impact our local community
Community Projects Manual
A great example of this was the early church of Acts, which made a habit of meeting together, eating together, and worshiping together. As a result, “the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” – Acts 2:46–47 (NIV)
MISSION AND VISION OF PGI COMMUNITY PROJECTS
To glorify God by building strong, gospel-centred relationships within the church and reaching out to the local community through acts of service, evangelism, and discipleship.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Community Projects exists to connect people to Christ and each other, fostering spiritual growth and unity while meeting the needs of the community through service and outreach.
Scripture commands it. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” The Community Ministry reflects this call by being a visible expression of God’s love in action.
Focus of Community Projects

Evangelism and Outreach
Develop and implement programs that share the gospel with those in the local community, including Bible studies, visitations, and evangelistic events. These efforts aim to bring the unchurched into a saving relationship with Christ.

Building Relationships
Foster meaningful connections among church members and guests, creating a supportive and welcoming environment that reflects the love and unity of God’s family.

Equipping Leaders
Train and empower small group leaders, ministry team members, and volunteers to take on active roles in serving the church and the wider community, ensuring sustainable growth and spiritual impact.
